Hi Will! I purchased a 4-octave birch xylosynth from you about 3 years ago, and I wanted to give you an update... First and foremost, I LOVE IT. In fact, everyone that hears it absolutely loves it I've been using the Xylosynth in 2 different scenarios... I drum full-time in a funky psychedelic rock band called Scott Pemberton Trio (www.scottpemberton.com). I moved my rack tom to the floor and have the Wernick over my kick. I use a Vic Firth swizzle stick with a soft felt mallet to play it without damaging it. Surprisingly enough, we made a Billboard chart this summer! We were 4th on the "Tastemakers" chart... right behind Daft Punk and right above Black Sabbath! I also have a solo project under the alias, GALAXE (www.galaxemusic.com). I recently released my first album, ILL BEVANS, which is a conscious hip hop project I've been working on for the past 2 years. I did all the production, as well as the vocals. I'm in the process right now of learning how to perform the material live, in a DJ-type atmosphere, using the Xylosynth, organic Vibraphone, turntable, Roland sp-404 sampler, and minimal loops from a laptop. I have a ton of pictures of the Xylosynth in action on my facebook page and the Scott Pemberton Trio page. I want to thank you again for designing such an inspiring instrument!!! I look forward to playing your creations for as long as this life allows me to- Nick Werth USA
